Behold what are most probably the comfiest shoes in my wardrobe:

These shoes are going to be my training wheels until I learn to walk in heels properly – something I’ve been wanting to do for ages but never had the confidence/balance to pull off.
I know a lot of people out there who shudder when they hear the word “wedge” in relation to a shoe, but let me tell you, they are SO comfy. They’re also better for your feet, and I think they look adorable, so long as you get the right style.
These ones were $30 from Target, and I love the round toes and the pin-tuck detail.

Those shoes are so cute! I wish we had a Target here.
In reply to your comment about my leather skirt, mine’s a half circle skirt with a big waistband added.
(This is a good how-to, but I only used a semi circle not a whole circle because I didn’t want the skirt to be too full.- http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=12439.0)

yeah, Target can really surprise you with the things that they have. i can’t wait to see the Zac Posen collection coming out soon. though i probably won’t buy anything.

my first pair of heels were 5 inch steve madden wedges for graduation. i still have them and they’re gathering dust. o_o i think yours are cuter and probably much safer too.

ah! They’re adorable!
I love wedges, but I can’t seem to find any that suit me, really.

Lovely wedges! I too have concluded that Wedge training is an essential part of ‘heel training’. It’s all down to the physics – more surface area = more stable!
