Outfit – Moving

Finally got my shit together long enough to make an outfit post!! This is actually yesterdays outfit, and as the title suggests I’m finally moving in with my boyfriend.. which means lugging all of my clothing and important belongings (mainly just clothing) into the city – loads of fun when you have no car so therefore have to fill a large bag with as much stuff as possible and drag it along after you on a 2 hour trip involving walking down a long dirt road, catching 2 trains and walking down a long and busy strip of another road. Phew.
But all this means that I now have (most of) my gigantic collection of leggings plus all my oversized singlets and tee’s neatly folded into the hanging storage unit in our now combined wardrobe, as shown here:

.. yes Leigh has 3 shelves of t-shirts, and crazy hawaiian “party shirts”, it’s because he’s rad =]

But anyway.. my leggings!! My new $10 Sportsgirl leggings (on sale of course).. they’re brown and shiny!! Apart from the fact that they were $10 I have no idea why I bought them, even as I was handing the money over I was thinking to myself  “how the hell am I going to wear these????” They look pretty awful with black so I figured good old basic white was probably best for a top, although now that I look at it I sort of wish I had a slightly creamier white singlet instead to soften it a bit more…
The vest I picked up at Femme Connection because it is kind of tacky and horrible and looks like it has, like, flame or butterfly shaped stitching or something but its soft and I love the colour and really, who doesn’t love a bit of tacky rock-n-roll flames/butterfly looking embellishment ESPECIALLY with those little brass studdy buttony things… yeah its pretty much love.

So anyway that is my long and non-sensical, ranty first post back. I’m hoping to stay on track this time (no promises because you all know I suck at keeping them), and also to amp it up a bit – I’m thinking like adding some beauty posts (like product reviews, most likely failed attempts at makeup looks etc), maybe a bit more designer influenced stuff – like wearing a look your own way and all that because its fun playing dress ups… things like that. Let me know if you have any good ideas for posts and such and I’ll schedule it in!
