What I wore today to go see a movie that wasn’t even showing in the end.. grr.
Today I went to fix up my hair colour, just make it a bit more vibrant.. how it managed to turn into a dark auburnish colour I’ll never know, the colour was called “Light Auburn Red” and the model on the box had BRIGHT ORANGE hair! She even had orange eyebrows for gods sake, and somehow my hair is practically brown!!!!
So unless this colour fades back to some sort of orange that I can dye over, I’m thinking I’ll just grow the colour out and not dye it again until its at the length I want it. I’ve stopped straightening it so much which has helped a lot, but the constant dyeing probably isn’t helping my cause all that much..

I got ready too early today so spent a good half hour playing around with eyeshadows, and ended up with this – blue on the inner corner and along half the top and bottom lashlines, and a redish-brown metallic in the crease and covering the rest of the eyelid/under my lower lashes.. and the obligitory million coats of mascara, of course.
I wanted to wear blue eyeshadow when my hair was orange but never quite got around to it, and now that my hair is darker I feel like just blue by itself looks a bit funny =/

Clearly my dog is a big fat poser, he managed to get into every single photo I took!
Today I had a dentist appointment, I had to catch the train and then walk and it was so hot outside, especially walking from the train station back to my house.

This is another one of those dresses that I forget I have, and then put it on and realise its really cute – a lady and her daughter walked past me today and the lady said to her daughter “thats a lovely dress, isn’t it?!”

After my dentist appointment I stopped by Big W to have a look at a couple of things I’d seen in their catalogue, namely this fur vest, the brogue and t-bar heels:

The vest I bought (I can see it becoming a winter staple), and I also got the t-bar heels. I spent ages prancing up and down the shoe aisle in both pairs but decided in the end that I could only afford one at this stage, so next payday I will go back and if they’re still there in my size then it was meant to be.

What do you know? Oh, you don’t know nothin’.

ahem… sorry, I just got a bit excited this morning while getting dressed and finding that if I wore super light cotton over drapey things, it looks nice and isn’t going to make me die of heat exhaustion.

I love these shorts so much, I got them 2 years ago at an op shop in Bendigo for $3 and didn’t wear them because they were slightly too small. Obviously I’ve lost weight because they fit me almost perfectly now =]

I don’t own alot of Sportsgirl stuff because I have this completely unjustified aversion to the store.. actually it is kind of justified by the HIDEOUS prices of things that have most likely been made in China for a third of the price… and the fact that they just can’t seem to move on from their annoying “Boho” phase.. seriously guys, its been like 3 years!!!
That said there are some new things coming in at the moment that I do quite like, but I’d rather wait till somewhere like Supre copies them so that its cheaper.

Also I love Cotton On’s shoe brand, Rubi Shoes. So cheap and nasty, but.. well.. so cheap!!!

Today I am going to hand out my resume at a couple of shops, I seriously need more than 1 shift a week =[
Everyone has this bloody Diva necklace, I was so annoyed because I bought it when it first came out and no one had it, and now every second girl is wearing it. I suppose thats what you have to deal with if you shop there though.

This is essentially the same outfit as yesterday, since staying away from home doesn’t exactly allow me to bring a million options for outfits. I love how by swapping a tight fitting skirt for a loose one and throwing on a pair of casual sandals can completely change the look and mood of your outift, even when almost everything else is the same.

Today I am hitting up some op shops to search for something to wear out on Sunday night, I’m so poor its unbelievable lol – I’m actually using op shops for their intended use!

I ended up having to change into something a little more boring because of the wind today =[
These shoes are absofuckinglutely amazing.. and $40 from Rivers.. who woulda thunk it!

Today we went to Ikea and bought chairs, which ended up being too tall… Now considering selling them on ebay and buying the smaller version lol.

Starting now, I’m starting over..

I’m back!!

Hopefully for good this time, I’m going to make a real effort to post something every day.

A million things have been preventing me from blogging lately, including:

- My boyfriend is moving into the ‘burbs, which means I’ve been spending most of my time shuttling back and forth between his place and mine, leaving no bag-space or time for interesting outfits

- I’ve been working and we have a monthly uniform. I’ve basically been living in the same oversized singlet and pair of leggings for the last month…

-…but I haven’t been working much. On average I’m probably getting 2 shifts a week, and most of the rest of my time is spent lazing around the house in as little clothing I can manage (omg the heat!!)

- No work = no clothes for money, I haven’t bought something new in forever.

- It’s summer. Summer and I don’t get along too well, I find it so hard to look good but stay cool at the same time =[

- I kind of got over fashion a bit (because of all of the reasons above). I pretty much just lived in leggings, or shorts and just couldn’t be bothered putting in the effort to dress well. All I cared about was being comfy.

So yeah, hopefully I’ll be able to get on top of it and continue this blog, I also want to start putting some more content in, rather than just outfit posts everyday.
I also want to say thanks so much to all my lovely readers  for continuing to read and comment while I’ve been away, I promise I’ve read every comment and will reply asap!!

I am posting this blog on my brand new tiny baby acer notebook/laptop thingy.. its very cute but a little hard to type on and obviously the screen is titchy so i can’t really tell if my photos are very good or not.. ah well, at least I dont have to fight over it with my siblings =] Thanks Santa!!
